Welcome to our new Junior camp students and welcome back to those who are returning for our 11 week tennis camp. Camp students will be using Courts 5-8 from 9am-3pm on weekdays through August 29th.

Don Tonyes Memorial Doubles Tournament Results
Finalists in the second annual Don Tonyes Memorial Doubles Tournament are Marc Oberholtzer and Brian Long who will play Rick Wright and Sam Starnes. Thanks to tournament organizers Gil Chapman and Anthony Pozzi and to all 32 players who played in Don's honor!

US Open Bus Trip
Our annual bus trip to the US Open will take place on Thursday, August 28th. Tickets include entry to all stadiums, including Arthur Ashe. The cost is $100 per person including the bus ride. The bus will depart at 7am from the GV parking lot and will return at 10pm. A sign-up sheet will be posted in the clubhouse. A great Father's Day gift idea!

Pizza Doubles is Back!
Our wildly popular Wednesday night Pizza Doubles parties begin this week, May 21st at 6pm. Bring your racquet and your appetite for some round robin doubles followed by pizza and beer on the patio. The cost is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. (If you can't make it by 6pm, come when you can and we'll work you in for the second round!) A great way to meet other members and an especially great way for new members to become involved!

Tennis Leagues Winners and Next Leagues
New League schedules, which started May 19 have been posted. Past league players, please meet new players and explain the process.
The 3 winter league results have been posted too.
Overall winner of the second winter/spring leauge is (who else?) Stefan
Dombrovski with 40 points in the Super 5.0 league before new rising star James Weiner with 21 points.
Most total point winner and also number one in the 4.5 Harriers is Ron Block with 45 points.

CPR Training Opportunities
Are you CPR certified? If not, please consider taking a one evening, 3 hour course in this important lifesaving technique. The cost is $35 and the class is being held at the Barry D. Brown Health Education Center in Voorhees, NJ. There are three dates available: April 21, June 11, and August 18. Please see the sign-up details under "Event Sign-ups" in our Members Only section. South Jersey's premier tennis club features four excellent indoor clay Har-Tru tennis courts and nine outdoor courts. Green Valley is a private club, owned and managed by active members and invites players of all levels to join us for tennis enjoyment.
