Outdoor Play Update
Towel service and court side drinking water service on the outdoor courts are both ending today (10/27). The courts will continue to be watered in the evenings and will be open for play as long as possible. Please continue to brush the courts after play. Thank you!

Winter Indoor Singles Leagues
The leagues are well underway. Leaders are: Tigers: Joan Buehler before Karen Zimmerman, Harriers: Bob Fine before Wolfgang Harms, Super 5's: Chris Confer before Tony House. We have a record participation of 4.0 to 5.0 players, but are looking for more 3.0 to 3.5 players.

GVTC Dri-Fit Polo Shirts with our Logo
We will be ordering mens and ladies white dri-fit polo shirts with our club logo through Cruise Control Tennis Gear. The cost is $25 and the sizes are as follows: Mens S-XXXL and ladies are S-XL. The mens shirts are true to size and ladies run about a size smaller than normal. To order your shirt, please use the Event's Sign-up section of our Members page and be sure to include the size in the comments section. Please order by October 31st. The shirts will take 6-8 weeks to come in.

Indoor Class Schedule
Our schedule of indoor classes is as follows: Tuesdays 8-9:30pm - Beginner/Intermediate level, Thursdays 7-8:30pm - Intermediate level, Saturdays 11-12:30pm - Advanced level, and Sundays 10-11:30am - Advanced Level. These drills are open to both Winter Members and Non-members. The cost is as follows: Non-members $30, Winter members $25, and Winter member Shareholders $20.

Men's Club Championships - Doubles Results
Congratulations to our 2008 men's doubles champions, Chris Confer and Jim Lewis who defeated club singles champion John Anderson and his partner Marcelo Pascale 7-5, 6-4. It doesn't get much closer than that...a nice effort by all four players!

Men's Club Championships - Singles Results
Congratulations to John Anderson, GVTC's 2008 Singles Club Champion! He defeated Jim Lewis 6-0, 7-6 in last Sunday's final. In semi-finals matches, John defeated Anthony Pozzi and Jim defeated Sam Starnes. Congratulations to Bill Driscoll, the B-Draw champion who defeated Ed D'Andrea 6-1, 6-0. In semi-final matches, Bill defeated Eric Pressman and Ed defeated Dave Procino. Congratulations to all who participated!

South Jersey's premier tennis club features four excellent indoor clay Har-Tru tennis courts and nine outdoor courts.
